Nootropics?
So while i have some down time, let's talk about nootropics, something which i have been experimenting with as of late. A nootropic is anything that has some cognitive enhancing ability, acts as a neuroprotectant, and has little to no toxicity. I've been feeling like I'm only half of myself because i ran out of my own stack. I use piracetam, choline bitartrate (acetylcholine precursor) and huperzine a (which inhibits acetylcholine breakdown). When i'm on my regimen, i feel like the top of the world. I've just ordered a fresh supply and added lithium to the mix. 5mg daily, i think, on top of everything else. So has anyone else experimented with nootropics? What were your results?

Crazy, never heard of this before. Where do you get yours?
ReplyDeleteAmazon or ebay. Google nootropics and read the wikipedia page to get started. after that, browse forums and the like till you find out what you need. Trust me, now that i've tried them, i probably won't ever stop. It's amazing but it works.
ReplyDeleteThis seems pretty interesting; so this stuff actually enhances your cognitive ability without any side effects? Do want.
ReplyDeleteHmm this might be interesting for me
ReplyDeleteits like limitless the movie
ReplyDeleteSo that toxic stuff that they advertise on tv is actually real?
ReplyDeleteWould it help with studying and/or taking an exam?
ReplyDeleteHow quickly do they kick in?
It's cumulative. After about a month or so on a regimen, you will get the most out of it. It kicks in about an hour or so and i definitely feel sharper in the 3-4 hours after that, though i'm at the point (or was) that i could skip a dose or two and still feel much sharper and confident than i normally would be. It's great stuff for studying as well. I can read through and instruction booklet once and put the thing together from memory, no joke. Of course it's wearing off quickly because i ran out, so i feel dull and oblivious lately. It kinda sucks not living at my full potential.

ReplyDeleteWoops. Well, as I was saying, this really doesn't seem safe. Then again, I used to take ritalyn everyday before class so I can't say much.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting post. Great detail and concise too!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing! Definitely following :)
Sounds interesting, heard of it but never used it. Isn't it dangerous to take those things ?
ReplyDeleteI have not experimented with them yet because our local medicine laws are so restrictive. They even restrict herbal compound! But always thought about getting them from oversea...
ReplyDeleteInteresting post. Have you experienced any side effects? I'll look into it more.
